FCS Scholarship - Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship

Aimed at young researchers from abroad who have completed a master's degree or a PhD and need to pursue the studies in Switzerland with a research, a doctorate or a post-doctorate grant in one of the Swiss Universities, Federal institutes of technology (EPFL/ETHZ/PSI/WSL/EMPA/EAWAG), IHEID, Universities of applied sciences or Universities of teacher education. It is possible for a student to apply for a scholarship at ARI, if he/she has a joint letter from a future host academic supervisor of one of the above-mentioned institutions and ARI.

ARI is eligible for funding on a case to case basis. Aimed at students enrolled in US and Canadian universities who want to go to Switzerland to conduct research or participate in a summer school.

The 3RCC Call for Projects addresses applied and basic research projects that support the development, optimization, application, implementation, or education of 3Rs approaches, methods and technologies. It aims at subsidizing each of the 3Rs (Replacement, Reduction or Refinement).

IBSA Foundation

The IBSA Foundation provides financial support for 5 scholarships, each of EUR 30.000, to young researchers under the age of 40. This includes scholarships, which are a concrete and direct way to promote scientific research in specific fields of medical discipline, including Orthopedics-Rheumatology and Medicine of Pain.
